ya right, but what does your real ride look like (if you have one or are old enough ;) )

OK, here we go... Cars don't do much for me... it is just a means to get from A to B as safely and comfortably as possible. So you may notice some spots on the car because I hardly ever wash my car. I prefer a "protective layer of dirt" over the effort and waste of water of washing.

hey, its nice... i was considering a 2003 Highlander... while considering my 2003 Nissan Altima... but the highlander had 30K+ more miles on it...

ya know, there are things call automatic car washes (obviously a small pay to get it) that do it for ya and thats pretty fun to watch! or theres services that have guys (or girls?) that do it for ya.

Washing a car with the right chemical (turtle wax, mothers, meguires, etc) will protect your paints clear coat (and thus your paint) from the sun and it won't fade... but i guess you plan to get another vehicle in 5 years so it doesn't matter I guess. The key to notice a car(or truck )that someone doesn't take care of is yellowish fogged over headlights... (which can be replaced though)

Nice car! I've owned 4 Caprices ('77 9C1 ex cop, '77 F41 civilian 4 door, '79 2 door and '85 wagon) and love them. Always wanted one on juice or bags. Definitely keep us posted with pics as she comes along!

Thank you.. This is my 3rd caprice, i've owned a 73' caprice lowered, a 93 caprice and now this one. Im a caprice/cadillac fan, cadillacs ive owned a 66' coupe deville, a 76' Eldorado, a 81 Coupe deville and the one before this one a 87 Fleetwood Brougham.

Ill post some pictures when this one gets painted or atleast once i charge my batteries so i can take it to a nice spot..

One day I will bother washing it and getting some decent rims under it along with a ride height reduction.
It has a full set of Trust/Greedy under body bracing and a Cusco LSD + a few other "goodies" :)

lol :( We can't import them where I am, vehicles have to be 15 years old (I think) before we can import 'em to Canada ... :( That and their amongst thinking about banning RHD in my province now that they did in Quebec already. So now JDM Altezza for me :( lol

nrowensby we don't see that many of the Lexus badged ones here, and most of the ones that are here are the IS200 rather than the 300 (I looked at a black IS200 BEAMS before this, but it was high Ks and overpriced), except for the GITA wagon, they seem to mostly have the 2JZ in them.

I actually just sold my IS300.... it was too slow and I couldn't stand the automatic...

Going to MD to pick up an 01 Audi A6, 2.7TT, 6MT tomorrow... Will post pics soon!

Lol yeah the IS300 is slower than the RS200 too.
There not exactly quick off the mark with the beams as there a pretty heavy car, but once your moving there decent enough + they handle better with the lighter 4 cylinder.
The 6 speed is a nice box too (same box as S15 Silvias and MX5s), I get 50ks out of 1st, 100 in 2nd, 160 in 3rd and hit the limiter (194k) in 4th gear :lol:

^ They call 'em 'drift charms' but most import drivers put 'em on there as a "JDM" thing too. Its usually a bear or somethin. Friend of mine has a smurf hangin from his JDM Nissan 180sx. I'd post the photo to but its not my car, tho it is my photo it just wouldn't be thread appropriate lol

Raizer - it looks sick man, I'm still jealous lol I see what you mean by the Taiwanese dash kit though its wavey along the top :s, you know how you fix that though ? You put an Indash dvd player in instead :D lol

Hi, I'm new to this website and don't know my way around a computer. But I'm trying to post a picture and it is telling me that it is to big. So my question is how do i make it small enough to post? thanks in advance.

Hey wizzer,
welcome to the forum! There are lots of free image editing programs you can find online. Since you said you're new to PCs, forgive me if I've dumbed this down too much for you, I just want to make sure I don't assume you know what I'm referring to and therefore am not of any help to you.
Open your web browser - I assume you're using Internet Explorer. Go to www.google.com and type in the search bar something like "free image editor".
There are a few I've downloaded but haven't tried yet because I use an older program that isn't available anymore called SuperJPG.
Here are a few I found but don't know how good they are:

Give those a try and see how they work. I'm sure someone else will come along with a better option for you. Good luck!

My ride is a limited edition 2002 VW Beetle with a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine, and matching black & yellow leather inside. I call him "Sting". :lol:

He is eight years old and only has 52K miles on him so far.

I like the composition (aside from the fact that there is more room on the left side of the left-most light than on the right of the right-most light), but find the reflection of the light on the window really distracting.

Its not that serious it was a quick pic i took the day the car was picked up and it was 35 degrees out Sorry to disappoint you lol

go to photoshop (if you have it) and go to adjustments, go to sharpen or whatever and select unsharp mask (i have the first selector at far left and play with the 2nd or it might be vice versa...)
