I hear you, I'm not a big Hyundai fan either but that's changing. Its a very similar story to Toyota and Honda. When they first hit the North American market they had cheap econo-boxes but look at them now. Hyundai is on the same path. Give em a few more years and I think they'll be right up there with the best of them. Look at their new models. They're nicer than most of the competitor's offerings out there right now and IIRC they have a better warranty than most.

The sport has a new 3.5l v6 with a 6 speed auto with select shift. I prefer the ecoboost but they didn't offer it for the fusion.. Ford did good with these cars.

IIRC they are talking about adding the ecoboost to it in 2012.. The new Edge sport is getting a 3.7L v6 the would probably bolt righ in place to where my engine is.

12's in the 1/4 mile with a tune and cold air intake with the AC on. If the price wasn't 45k I would have bought that over the Fusion.. Don't get me wrong, I love my fusion and with a 263hp v6 it's not bad, but I would love to have an SHO..

^^ this was my best 1/4 pass but ive gone better in the 1/8 but missed 4th( foot slipped off the clutch and wouldnt go in)... and cruised to a 10.79 @ 119 lolol..that 1/8 was 6.77 @ 110 ..needless to say i was pissed cause that would have been a low 10:cry:

Very mild cosmetic modifications to the outside (remove side trim and side marker lights, aftermarket wheels, Can-Am style front spoiler, vintage 60s style F1 mirrors). Most of the modifications will be mechanical/electrical and interior related. The last two that I built had very high output (relatively speaking) B20s (the stock engine) but I've been leaning towards a supercharged B20 or a turbocharged B234 (16v 960 engine) mated to a T5 transmission.
Fun stuff for sure, but first I have a lot of body work to get done. :)
Oh yeah, it will be red, the wife won't have it any other way.

Thanks for the compliment. It was fun to watch the transformation from a stock bike to what it is now but it's not completley done yet, still some small things left to do.
