nice wheels... but I think if you paint those center caps black, (to match the spokes) they would look much nicer... I don't really (personal preferance) like wheels with HUGE silver centercaps... especially gunmetal or black.

"those aren't "caps" on the Mazda. Those wheels are solid, pure, machined aluminum goodness."

I meant the middle sections, you know the HUGE SILVER Circular center piece? I just love rims one color (black, gunmetal, alloy, etc, all black/gunmetal except maybe the logo of the company in the middle) I don't like the rims with the huge silver or black (depending on the color of the rim) center section or *cap* ;) hope that makes sense and was easy to understand.

I will make an attempt, but this is not my specialty.... Please share on your aperature/shutter speed info. for this shot. I'm thinking aperature of f 5.8 minimum?? I'm in a hot sunny place so the lighting may be the same as pictured here. Unless I can do it late in the day when the sun is setting, which would be really prettty....

My bike is indisposed at the moment :) I lived but I ended up with a severely dislocated shoulder. It's a long story but this happend at under 25mph. The bike hit a tree. I didn't. The first time that I crashed it... I hate saying that... I hit the dirt at about 70 mph. 30 mph curve, 75 mph bike, indecision, drifted high, loose gravel, BAM, sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt. No hospital, no ER, almost totalled the bike. I was wearing a helmet and it was broken in two places. This time around (late May '05) I managed to get my first ambulance ride, my first IV, my first MRI (those suck), my first 4 months of PT, my first morphine (which doesn't work). I didn't have a helmet on. I had no scratches on me. My pants were torn where my car keys rubbed thru but that's it... yet I nearly permanently lost the use of my left arm.

The bike was a 2002 Honda VTX Retro. 1800cc's. I rode it to Colorado twice, California, then back to Tombstone, AZ, and then home again last March. It was a great bike. I loved doing 800 - 900 miles a day on it. It cruised easily at 80mph... and 140mph sustained stretches were comfortable but fuel didn't last as long :)

I'm sorry to say that she was totaled...

Beautiful R1. True story... I had my eye on a black R1. I wanted a second bike for the track. I probably would have had it the week after I dorked my bike. But... things didn't work out that way...

How is Mobile? It's one of my favorite cities. I'm supposed to do some work there this month but I've heard that the motels are still full from all of the reconstruction. I need to get over to FL to visit my son too (Hurlburt Field near Ft. Walton Beach)

Mobile's pretty good.. Might try the Hampton Inn in Daphne for a room.. Don't go for the one in Mobile, it's in bad shape.. If no luck, let me know and I can call in a few favors.. We often fly people in for business so I got connections.. :-) I know I sure miss Dallas.. having the motorsports ranch right there rocked..

Cool. Yeah, My work is down past Bellengrath Gardens toward Bayou La Batre... so Daphne would be best.

Lots' of good photography opportunities down there. Dauphin Island is cool. I like the bridge going across. There's the civil war fort. The one across the bay is better. They even have a fresnel lens out of a lighthouse there. That's a cool piece of glass. Battleship park rocks. I haven't been there in quite a while though.

R1 + Motorsports Ranch = Yee Friggen Ha :D

It has a shaker hood, fastman 52mm TB, stillen bumper cover, flowmaster with real cuda tips, roll pan, lowered 2/3, mds wires w/brass cap & rotor. Painted calipers, all handles, & mirrors, clear corners. Billet 3rd brake light cover. Customs fiberglass sub box in back seat with 2 12.1D Infinity Perfects subs and Hifonics Zeus 7500 Amp.

bigman, is that the acura tl or rl? it's the tl, right?
It's a hot car. My cousin has one. I've found it to be an incredibly comfortable sport-luxury car. I haven't found too many cars that can deliver comfort without sacrificing a stiff ride, but the tl manages to give a good balance of both. The rl is a whole other story, but that's only if you have the money.

This is my ride. You may have seen it my thread.

at the highest i had the front mount, downpipe, walbro 255lph, and ebc tuned to around 10.5psi.

but the car's a warrenty case so it all off now. unfortunately mazda wont look at a car unless you drive it in while its got problems (fuel problems... a bit of a problem for the msm, theres a few of us out there).

but since im runnin outta mileage to get it lemoned, im gonna do standalone em once i put together the money, and hope to god it makes the car run right! besides...EM= turbo upgrade time!! MUHAHHHAHHA

Here in the UK thats a hanging offence. The Transport Police really take their job seriously.
