cej93, what do you call the color of your car, our cars have the same color. Is it burgundy?

I have heard it called Electric red; Ford's paint code for it is EG I believe. It is the original paint on the car so it doesn't quite have the "pop" like it could if I would have it painted.

Manufacturers give their paint fancy names. But do you know what is it called in English (English is not my 1st language that's why I'm asking). Thanks.

Nice. I love Mustangs. In the past I have owned a 68 coupe, 87 LX 5.0, 90 LX 5.0 and a 98GT. Regret seeling them all.

Is that color WILD STRAWBERRY? My 90 LX was WILD STRAWBERRY.

Thanks! I think mine is a little more burgundy than strawberry; they called it Electric Red. I love the color; wish I had the money to paint it but that's going to have to wait. :)

All the others have Ohio plates on them so you better get a front one on here to. Damn state law cost me $120 once. Went the speed limit around a statey on the highway and it pissed him off so he pulled me over and gave me aticket for no front plate and no seat belt.(A-Hole)

King Mackeral was the catch of the day 20 miles out of Galveston, Tx. Sorry about the quality. A friend took the pic from his boat nearby.

For a crit on the taurus, it screams rims lol the engine picture is my favorite. The first two could have used some....brightening to the car (brighten it up a tad). The last one doesnt really do much for me. Did you use your flash or are the lights on parking lot THAT bright? When working with a background like that, try to get more background/skyline and less foreground.

First I will let you calling it JUST a 'taurus' slid this time  Its a SHO (super high output 3.4L v8 made by Yamaha for Ford aka money pit and alot more rare then most people think) Im kinda partial to the factory rims but have looked at some chrome cobra rims that I think I will be getting in the near future...

The first two other the cropping there was no P/P and was shooting into a sunset. The last pic with the skyline behind it, I dont remember if I used the flash or not. I dont think I did, but yea that roof top lights on that parking garage were super bright. Theres always people up there doing photo shoots of their cars as its a decent location...

oh yea, I saw this lovely car, Fayence yellow Porsche Carrera GT at costco

I think its a 'northern' thing for these cars. When I bought it in FL I would see 4-5 different ones from time...but since moving to VA Ive only seen 3 others in the local area.

No plans since there is not 'really' anything you can do to them. Might lower it a bit, and plan on getting some flowmaster to replace the stock exhaust. but thats about all you can do that wouldnt be custom 1 off on theses cars..

Oh, theres a handful of stuff you could do to it, heads, cams, exhaust, gears, might be able to find a turbo kit or a blower. Its no honda civic, but it can be done.

Not to mention spraying the vajesus out of it

You would think you could do all that stuff to it. The 3rd Gen SHO is a 3.4L V8 unlike the previous 2 gens that were v6's. There are no preformace cams/heads/gears for it. There are 2-3 with custom 1 off $10,000 invested in doing it, turbo kits....

but yea there are a few running around on the juice but when the engine (thats not avail anymore from ford) cost $14,000+ from ford dont think I want to worry about blowing up the engine...

More info..... www.v8sho.com Only made between 1996-1999 about 20,000 made only about 10-15,000 by best estimates left on the road

That whole 10-15000 left on the road literally means, theyre left on the road lol
Jk, The only ford Ill ever be caught in now a days is the new cobras. Me and ford dont really get along too well. Except the twin turbo V6 they put in the Noble M12 GTO *drool*
Also, its funny how a V8 is fwd, I thought all of them were either rwd or awd (explorers and that crap)

Anyhoo, with a short budjet, I guess the best thing is no go, all SHO

It's not a new thing... The 66 Oldsmobile Toronado was pulled by a 425c.i. V8 engine. They later offered it with a 455. The floor inside was totally flat under the seats. Though, I admit it's weird. :D

If a SHO owner gets rear-ended, he still can keep the engine and shove it in place of the back seat in a Ford Festiva. ;) Talk about power/weight ratio.

no.

you have the original shelby cobra from 1963-1968... then the Mustang GT500 cobra 428s... then you have the Ford Cobra concept from a year or two ago, and then the new Shelby SVT GT500... so...

Love the blue!

Have you tried using a circular polarizer? It helps saturate the colors and lessen the reflection - I love using it for shooting cars.

Oh, Toyo Proxes 4 - awesome stickiness w/ all-season goodness!

Not sure yet about the 40th, I'd love to get an M like MP0WER's above :)....of course, about a year after buying this car my wife and I found out that we were expecting, so it turned out to be a somewhat impractical purchase....don't really like the idea of putting a babyseat in the back of a convertible.

my daily driver is now a Honda CRV and the bimmer sits forlornly in the driveway until the occasional weekend drive.

This is my all go, no show '97 Prelude Base.

Current mods:
Mugen Header & Exhaust, Iceman CAI, VAFC, Koni/GC (450/380), Spoon STB F/R, Suspension Techniques Sways F/R, Brembo Slotted Rotors all around, Pure Racing Short Shifter, JDM Fogs, S2000 T-Stat and Fan Switch, AEM Underdrive pulley

In the Mail:
S2000 AP1 Rims + tires

When the clutch goes out I'm adding:
Exedy clutch, Fidanza flywheel, LSD, and Infinitude 4.62 final drive

With 10% more power due to the flywheel and FD, it should be more exciting to drive. The LSD will make cornering a lot more fun and I might just have to get her back on the track after a much-too-long-hiatus.
