Growing up in northern Minnesota, it was common for us to have 3 or 4 trucks parked around the fish house in the winter. We lived on a lake and straight out from our dock was a 35' hole where the crappies hung out.

A white truck against snow couldn't have been easy to take - nice shot!

I actually took that photo just to test the lighting for the rest of the shots. When I got home and uploaded them to the computer, this one ended up being my favorite. The others actually had the window up but didn't turn out the way I wanted them.

Less learned,treat practice shots like the real thing just in case.

Nothing special about this shot really. I came out to the parking lot after a photo job this weekend and was still wearing the MoneyMaker, so when I saw my S60T5 I just felt like taking a shot as I was walking towards it.

You're right. Was running 2/3 overexposure from working inside, just pulled the camera up and shot it without compensating for being out in daylight. Changed it a tad now and re uploaded.

Yes, it's a fun car. It has far more punch than people think, and it's easy to get more if one so desires. I would of course rather get an R AWD if it wasn't so damn expensive here. But all in all very pleased with the T5. It's an 01 and has over 170k miles on it. No severe issues.

^Took it in my garage (no lights) with one strobe, bounced off the ceiling which minimized glare. It took me a couple tries with different settings to get the effect. Just kill all the ambient lights and use one lighting source - adjust the settings as needed. Nothing special with post processing. Just my usual dodge and burn, contrast adjustments, etc. etc.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I've rebuilt the transmission twice now. Love the car though. It's full APR Stage 3 and I beat the crap out of it though, so I can't expect too much out of it.

I just let my father drive the S4 now because he babies it. I take the 200 out when I want to have fun. Both cars are making an estimated 400awhp.

Luckily I did all the labor myself which saved a ton of money however the repairs were far from cheap. I chose to rebuild my transmission rather then putting in a questionable used one. Too many shady people out there that will just claim that what they're selling is good and unless you take it all apart in front of them, you'd never know. That being said, I spent close to $4000 in transmission parts alone including the input shaft, 1st gear, 2nd gear, 3rd gear, 4th gear, new 1-2 shift collar and hub, new 3-4 shift collar and hub plus all new carbon syncros. If I were to do it again I'd just buy a rebuilt unit from Advanced Automotion.

Good luck with yours. I love mine too however I have found that I love my Inline 5 cylinder 20 valve turbo a bit more :D

Cactus green! My favorite color. Wish I could have found my S4 in that color.

I like how the headlight washer covers on the european cars are flush with the bumper. Is that a diesel model? I am just guessing it is by what looks like an outlet (for a block heater) next to your license plate.

It is the 1.8 petrol engine. all cars in Finland are equipped with the outlet as it gets very very cold in the winter :(
