Red eye

Watched three Western Grebes fishing on Lake Berryessa. I have never seen one close up before. I never realized their eyes were blood red.

So far so good. I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I have been very impressed with it. It seems to be super sharp, even a 500mm. No focusing issues....I'm am very, very happy with it.

The focal range of the lens sounds great, just I'm not sure about it without Optical stabilization.

Very well done. The more I see grebes, the more I like them. The red eye is very cool but it can give them a bit of an :evil: look! :D
