Hello there,

I have just received CS2 and started playing with it. However, I got stuck on the first step, which is kind of frustrating. I have taken some RAW pics with my 350D to get started, and they are saved in CR2 format. When I wanted to open them in CS2, it game an error message, saying it cannot open them as they are "not the right kind of document"

Where did I make a mistake and what do I have to do to be abel to open the files??? Please help me out as I would really like to get started with the learning.

Thanks,

Zsolt

Just go to the Adobe website and download the latest version of Adobe Camera RAW, which has support for your camera's RAW files. Everything should be fine then.

No problem. Adobe add new cameras to it's RAW processor on a fairly regular basis. It's also worthwhile updating your copy of CS2 as well. I think there's a link to the update on the tools menu, or you can download the latest service packs from the Adobe site.
