What do you guys think? Not quite pleased with it for some reason. How could I improve similar shots in the future?

I looked at this for a good long time. I see nothing wrong with it. In fact, I see a lot of RIGHT with it. Even composition. Light on the leaves. Good water. Fair sky.

I think it's good.

WOW great shot it takes your eye right into the picture then you start to notice the colour of the leaves etc.

Thanks for the kind comments. I guess the thing I dislike the most about it is the lack of color at the top of the sky. Not sure I could have done about it though since that's what it was.

This is really nice! :)

But..... since we are in the "critiquue" forum... :wink:

The pink looks pushed a bit too far... as does the contrast, which contributes to the biggest problem I can see,. that being,.. the shadow areas seem too dark.

If you are looking to improve on the image,. i think you may be able to try a multiexposure on different layers trick.. to try and bring out some of the sahowy areas in the foliage.

Really a wonderfull shot with a lot going for it 8)
