"this band really rocked"

I should say. Your photos sure convey that. Really well done with three being absolutely stellar in energy, vividness and sharpness.

The other shots are solid but I think you agree that #3 really pops out - you "got all of that pitch" as we'd say in baseball.

How about some self-commentary. What was going on with #3.

Well it seems bad and i need to not do this, but it was much more my style of music that i like, so i can well to be honest not so much guess but predict whats coming up in the song if there will be a solo, a break etc etc, and in 3 the Blue light came on and i just knew there was going to be something that he was going to react (head bang) too, luckily i faced my way and not the other side lol. thats why whenever anyone asks about concert photography, with out saying the obv like fast glass etc as that obvious, but i always say to them aswell, just get into the music and feel it, sounds daft i know.

Of course i try to feel and get into all the music of the bands i shoot, but i can just say that this gig was just an awsome shoot.
Cheers

These are really really good. I know the venue well and have taken thousands of pictures in there. The lighting guys used to be very helpful and read what was going on and checking where I was to give me optimum pictures. Too bad I didn't have a fast enough glass.

I agree that you have to get in to the music. Do that, try to predict what is going on and you will find it even easier to get it right.

Well done!

I'd run with pic # two...it has the good face on, the colors the proportions, and the lighting...the drummer is in his own domain and free of intrusions making for a nice rare capture...
