Hello again lol, This band is more thrash Metal, they have been going round the local circuit for a bit now.

You got them right in frame, nicely composed...They should jump on the opportunity to buy these captures from you James.

Nice set James. #2 seems a little clipped, but a nice composition.

Cheers John, well hopefully they will but being a local band i should imagine they are not the wealthiest of bands but we will see.

Basil, yeah its a bizarre club one minute the lighting is shocking the next its fine, and then it will be the same lighting maybe someone will move from there spot onstage and u just cant get jack.
slightly annoying, but with saying that its only second time i shot there.

I like #4. What happened to his eyes? Was that lighting, contact lenses or B/W conversion?

Rene it was contact lenses lol, they do look uncomfortable lol

That mic stand in number 5 is crazy.
Number 2 is my fav. Maybe a little crop on the left side?

4 is really well executed. looks like 2 and 3 had some clipping issues. for 5, did he use John Cale's old goalie mask? ;) the picture would work a bit better if he had his down more a bit.

Oh Regarding the Clipping, they do have both red and yellow lighting so sometimes i think maybe it looks a little clipped but its not, but probably in those shots it maybe but i idnt think it looked to bad?

That's funny, cause I spend half the show just waiting, for similar reasons...

you gotta avoid the up the nose shots... and the mike in the mouth shots,.. and the long mike shadow on the face shots...etc... Like you say James, timing and patience is also a key ingredient...

That's why it's good, to bring home some positive results from these shows...
