You got some really nice shots. 4 is a cool shot, I like the audience being in the shot. Stage & lighting made for a nice stage shot in #6. Good work.

Nice stuff :) Number 2 and 5 are my favourites. Hope you enjoyed yourself.

I would work on # 4 to bring out the depth and contrast, while reducing the gray and green zones...It just looks too pale and cool...However, it has strong subject and composition with lots of potential.

I really like #2. Our Artist Relations Manager works closely with Johnnie Reznick (sp?); I'm sure he'd dig seeing these!

Is that the same bass player they've always had?

Several viewings are usually better for considering high profile images... After earlier going with just # 4 as my favorite of the set, it looks like # one and pic # two are real sharp and also have a lot of potential...

1/ nah. I hate mic shadows on faces.
2/ lovely 'looking at the balcony seats' shot. fav.
3/ good light on the hair and perfect on the bass -details like the picks on the blutac (but brighter color in background of the head would've helped). Wish the hair was off face of course.
4/ good performer with audience shot.
5/ great limelight shot. nice one. wish he had his hands out stretched or somewhere else other than the mic. his black shirt boosts the guitar perfectly.
6/ beaut scene shot. nice.
7/ nah. most drummer shots are v hard. nose lit up awkward and expression
8/ the expression is not flattering;
"Has the airline been able to find my ###### luggage yet??"

Well, now I have to agree with Carzee...the mike shadow on the face is basically not reversible, without cloning...this is where hundreds of shots come in to play...either catch the performer along side the mike or realize it in post processing...
This past weekend, during an opening act... out of over 100 shots specifically devoted to capturing the performers face, I was only able to salvage less than a dozen...
Awareness of stage presence is essential and performer cooperation is a must, or it gets very difficult...

Very nice series, you've gotten details from sevearl above that are pretty spot on. I'd sure put several in my portfolio.

I like #2 best. Would have liked #1 better if not for the shadow on the chin.
Nice set all in all.
