Temperatures in the 90's here the last couple of days... seems like just a couple weeks ago we had the heater on to keep the chill off at night.. Now the A/C is kicking in... !!
The girls couldn't wait to put on their swimsuits and enjoy their first run through the sprinklers.. I didnt' get a good shot of them running, but here are a couple that I just loved.
Simply snapshots, and a "practicing" flash session for me, but oh how I LOVE these little faces!
CC is always welcome!! :)

Both are lovely! The only crit I have is the white strap in the first one grabs attention a bit. Beautiful children!
I even like your signature line (or whatever you call it.) Did you create that and make it into a brush to add to photos? Curious

Thanks Sam~ Coming from you, that is a huge compliment... she's about the same age as you Lexi... so you know that when they are ready to pose, it's going to be great, but when they are done... that's it....
Lovely photos, congrats.

Thanks for commenting.. also love the second one.. I guess I need to
try and get a better shot of the baby.. she is just totally on the go... hard to catch her! :)
Kristy, your girls are gorgeous :D
Oh so sweet of you to say that.. I love them, to pieces and of course I think they're adorable... but I have my mommy glasses on all the time. :)

Yeah.. the white strap is actually her pink bathing suit top.. she was finished playing and had talked her daddy into letting her play in her truck... I'm the conservative one.. kids should not play in cars, but he's the push-over daddy of 2 girls, so what's a guy to do...
Yes, my signature is a brush that I created in PS... Fun to have it, I usually put it on a separate layer and then emboss it to give it a little dimension. I'm always trying something new. :)

Okay so I have to post a better shot of the little one I guess.. .seems like the one I picked isn't doing her justice?
Here are 2 more.. still snap-shotty because of the flash... It was late in the day and just not enough sunlight to fill... Another shot in Daddy's truck, and a classic shot of her running away from the camera and into the house... Kids are so funny! :)

very cute shots of the girls. It's amazing when you think of how much money we'd have to spend if this was film and all the developing costs. I must take a few hundred of Meg each month.

Great shots!
So true hawk911... I probably wouldn't be taking as many pictures if I were using film. Development cost plus keeping all of the "bad shots" someplace. I'd much rather keep them on my computer than in a bunch of shoeboxes!

nice photos! I'm not looking forward to those 90 degree weather especially coming in from flagstaff, but I got spring break next week. I guess it's gonna be cooling down next week. again great photos, and lovely daughters.

Little kids make the best faces, especially when they don't know you are trying to shoot them. Great job.

Thanks Mo! :) I can always use a little ego boosting. :) They are growing up so fast.. I makes me a little sad sometimes.... but I love seeing them become who they are and watching them blossom into little people of character. :)

Yeah.. wiskaz and hawk... SO thankful for digital.. we can shoot all day long and not spend a penny. :) Love it!
what lens did you use for these shots? very cute shots These were with my new lens 24-70L... I'm loving it and so glad I decided to buy it.. it was a tough decision because my Tamron is pretty sharp, but I love this lens.

Kristy,
You have two beautiful daughters :) Your photographs of them are super! As a grandpa I spend a lot of my camera time taking photos of my two year old and five year old grandkids...I really admire well executed photos of youngsters...yours are clearly in that category :)
