Keith Whitton - Local Country Artist - C&C Please

A friend of mine works at a recording studio and had a guy who needed a few pictures. I'm hoping that I can get some business cards made that he can give people who come through his studio who need some shots. Anyway, this guy really wanted to get some night shots downtown. All the lights downtown here are an amber color and just make taking pictures a pain. I did the best I could with my first real promo shoot. Here are a few that I've worked on some. Still a little yellow. Used the 5D with the 50mm lens. Any constructive advice or thoughts are appriciated!

The overall composition is very good and provides a strong background... The first pic is the strongest of the set.

While the background in pic #2 is best of all (three is nice too), the profile is difficult to determine...is he happy? or not in a good mood? or in a serious mood? the lips are too thin and look like he is frustrated or trying to be serious.

#3 needs to be, him playing the guitar, and looking up at you with both eyes open, and his mouth singing or smiling for the camera...It needs to look like fun... The performances have to be enjoyable and fun is the easiest way to portray them...

He has a good healthy, clean look, with nice teeth...work on showing the best side of him looking good...
