I had an AWESOME time... this was definitely one of THE best concerts I've ever been to.
Here's a teaser... none of the photos have had any post processing and the noise is a little high on some... but over all .... not too shabby for a Powershot S3...
Click on the picture to see other pictures on my flickr site. Thanks for all the help everyone! (from my prior post today)

Did they sing in english or spanish. Saw them at a showcase in LA a couple of years ago (well two of them were there) and my impression was that they hardly speak/spoke any english at all so used another singer to sing a song in english.

I got to shoot these guys when they performed in a very intimate setting in January. They performed in Spanish, but the fact that I couldn't understand a word of it didn't detract from the show...

Great shot, Mana sings all there songs in Spanish. They are the most popular Spanish Rock band in the US, and they are quite good if you ask me :)

Oh yes, I agree they are good. Or the two members I saw at the showcase. Good songs.
And a great shot too.

Thanks Guys!
They were incredible. I was not disappointed in anything. I think they're not just the most popular Spanish rock band in he US but in Latin America... they've been compared to the Beatles of the Spanish speaking world...
I had heard that before but I only saw last night why... it was great. If you get a chance you should look at the other photos... some of them show the great visual performance quality as well. But those things usually don't impress me... they were just a great band... they were rockers through and through...
Maybe I've just been jaded by the superficiality of American Idol.

You mean that point and shoot camera gave you those great results? You certainly are a lucky one...
The close ups of the entertainers are real good too...Checked them out earlier this morning when you first posted them...I'm impressed...

Yuppers!
My not so little point and shoot... and I have to say, I didn't shoot in automatic so I'm very proud of myself. There was only the Shaman to open up and it was very short so I couldn't practice a lot, but the last half of the bunch came out better/less overexposed than the first shots.
thanks again...

And I have to say that I did cheat... I used the digital zoom on some of the closer shots...

Hi inthedeck,
The sounds was actually really good. Very clear and loud but not too loud... perfect for rockin! lol
They've been around for a long time so they've had time to practice their technique I guess. Everything was really good about the show... showmanship was excellent.

Say Regina,
I was driving by NYC and listening to a Latin radio station 93.1 FM, and the lady DJ's were constantly promoting the action at MSG... I heard Mark Anthony sing a song completely in Spanish...
Than I had to return to PA...
Do you listen to that station?
John
