Has anyone imported a Hyperdrive Space into the UK? after doing a fair bit of searching I have decided to get one. Where would be the best place to go? At the moment I like the look of Jal Digital.
I already have an Epson P-2000 and hardly ever use the screen and it is too slow to copy, plus battery life is poor. Any negative comment on the "Space", I would only be using it with Sandisk Xtreme III CF cards in 1 and 2 GB size.
Any feedback appreciated...

Why would you not use the Hyperdrive shop (http://www.hypershop.com/shop/)?
Is Jal Digital anywhere else apart from Australia?

You want decent amount of storage and a decent amount of downloads per charge then you can't go wrong with a Nexto Ultra (http://www.nextodi.co.uk/) (http://www.nextodi.com/)
Worlds fastest downloader at under one minute for a 1GB card, and can download 80GBs on one charge. My old Epson P2000 managed a couple of cards then would need charging and took forever to download too. Getting one of these is one of the best purchases I've made. Damn cheap too.
They don't seem to have hit the amateur market yet, although I must stress that I am an amateur and only found them through hours of endless Googling

You should have gotten the Vosonic VP 8360 or 8390, rather than the Epson P-2000. I love mine, it's very fast and handles everything that the Epson can, since i compared the 2. Another thing i like about mine is that i can replace the hard drive w/ another laptop one.

Thank you all for your input, I will look into the units you recommended. Seems on a par with the Space on download times, but what caught my eye with the Space was 100gig per charge and user replaceable batteries.
Again many thanks

StuI would also consider a big plus for the Hyperdrive Space is the native support for all the card formats including not just SD but SDHC too. I don't like the idea of having to use a card reader or CF to SD adapter in the field. IMHO
