Hi,

I would like to hear your opinion on these two shots, taken today. When I took them, I thought there was more yellow of the flowers. But the end result hardly shows any yellow. Although it is not what I expected, I still liked them enough to ask you for your feedback. So, what do you think? Color, composition, ...?

I like the second one but I'm not sure about the topary to the left edge of the picture - I don't think it adds anything and if it was removed I feel that the image would be stronger. I'm probably completely wrong but that's what I'd try. However I like the image you have all the same and like how the eye follows the maze effect into where the flowers are.

Again Great work

David

Thanks David,
Could you please help me (since I am not a native English speaker)... what is a topary? I can't find anything to the left edge of the picture that could be this topary. Sorry...

Topary is the art of shaping trees - the two in you photo are shaped to a cone style and will always be trimmed and shaped that way.
