I'm from SoCal actually. Congrats on BYU. Bio is tough man. Very rough. But if that's what you want, I definitely encourage it. Hold on to photography though.

Yep. It is a gift from the South Koreans to the City of Los Angeles in celebration of the US's 200 birthday. It is rung twice a year, once on our Independance Day and once bringing in the New Year. Housed in a very nice pagoda on a hill in San Pedro (LA Harbor area) over looking the harbor, Catalina, et al. The best place on the west coast for kite flying.

been gone a few days, amazing photos all. Chandler I can't believe you are still in HS! How did you lose your leg?

I was swimming in a lake east of Seattle, about 100 yards from shore, right in front of my house. I was completely under the water (I had fins on) and therefore completely invisible to any boat drivers. A motorboat ran over me, with the propeller tearing up my right leg up to the hip, my left foot, and my right hand. My right leg was unsalvageable, so they amputated it at the hip (it was already very close to falling off anyway), while my fingers were salvageable and so was my foot. Even though I lost about 75% of my blood and had no pulse upon arriving at the hospital, I was revived and sustained no brain damage or damage to any organs other than limbs and bones. It was a rough injury, and has changed my career plan a bit, but it has also made me focus in on what I want to achieve in life and be very grateful to be alive.

Hi again guys, Chandler you are an inspiration!! Great positve attitude I see you'll go far in this world. I like that you see there is no point sitting around crying in your beer and unlike a large number of the population you've choosen to "get on with it!" Cool.

Been to Vancouver to help my daughter move to a new appartment. Good Ol' daD :lol: takes a 9hour drive to help move and then comes home to the aftermath of a snow storm. Had to shovel out the drive way before i could park the truck & camper.
