A 100-400 f/4 IS would be great (OK, a little bit big), although this lens was rumoured to be coming at PMA.

Just feel the need to point out, different sentences.

What Chuck said in Sentence two.

Basically Chuck said next release is in August 2007 and the 1DM3 will be out in April.

I suspect he did NOT say the 40D, 100-400/4 and other stuff would be out then as I suspect that would get Chuck fired. So don't get your hopes up too far.
