Lens Help...

Hi there,

I'm considering buying an EOS 300D, but am a little unsure as to what other lenses I may need. I currently have a Kodak DX6490 which has a 10X optical zoom - so I would like some sort of telephoto lens which is comparable to that.

How do I work out what the 'optical zoom' of a lens is?
