I haven't posted any shots in a while, so here's a bunch from my most recent wedding, shot yesterday.
As always, comments and critiques totally welcome.

Agreed, the Candid of the little girl is excellent. I like the last one as well, nice overall collage!

Dan - love this lot. As others have said the candid of the little girl is awesome. The last two also stand out to me. Well done again.

Great stuff, the only image that I don't like is #4 where the brides pose is not very flattering. My favorite is #8 followed by #5.

great pics from a tassie boy. Dump # 4, keep #5 in your portfolio forever, and I'm a serious fan of #8. Which body and lens did you mainly use?

Nice!!
1 is a great detail shot, 8 is my favorite. I agree with the posing comment on 4 and the others are good too! Thanks for sharing. be well.

5 is also my fav. Love the PP on it too. Great work as usual!

I also really love these shots (as I always love your stuff). If only the bride was turned more to the side, and standing up straighter, in #4. It's not very flattering to her figure or her dress, as others have said. :)

Nicely done work Dan - I like what you've presented. You got some great kids action and expression shots although I'm not a big fan of diagonal framing. The B&W materials works too.
I'm not sure about #4 though, where the bride is on the left and it looks like her right hip is somewhat raised... tough shot to make flattering and I'm not sure how I would have improved it. But I like that you have the groom in the back looking on.
Perhaps if she would have been a little angled, right profile to you, looking into the center of the shot, where the groom is standing, but still looking at you that may have helped. I know it's a relaxed pleasant shot, but she's displaying bad posture which is unflattering to her normally attractive full figure. Just my .02. - Stu

I love these shots.
I'd agree on the #4 comments, particularly Stu's posture/angle suggestions.
You surely had several of the same scene - any about more angled or twisting?
Someone suggested with a full figured bride to put the guy in the front making perspective-sizing work in your favor.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys and girls.

My wedding combo consists of 30D plus either a 50mm f1.4, 17-55mm f2.8 IS or 70-200mm f2.8 IS.

Mizuno - you must enjoy kids (I mean that in a GOOD way).
The reason I say that is your timing was right on for getting those special little kid expressions and fleeting moments. People who don't like kids generally don't have the patience to carefully watch for and capture those short-lived displays. Very nice job on that. - Stu

I really loved #9. It made me smile from ear to ear. Good expression on the groom's face (kind of shy). It was a pose that worked well for the bride as well. That is a shot I would like to duplicate. Great!

You know what, Stu, I was actually shooting something else and saw the kids out of the corner of my eye, swung round and fired off one shot before the kids disappeared behind a building.
Luckily it was sharp enough to be a keeper!
I think it's probably my favourite shot from the whole day.

Ditto.
Great conversions in general too. Kubota or your own method? The blue cast on the little girl works.

The only one I am not crazy about is number 4. You did outstanding in all others to get an angle that slims her and flatters her.. but number 4 unfortunately didnt flatter her so much :(
