HOW DO I EMBED PLEASE

Sorry about this however I have not posted here for some time and for the life of me I cannot seem to be able to embed an image in a post anymore (that is I have forgotten how!!!). Anyway I have done it many times in the past so know it is possible from my hosting service, which is PBase. Please help. (embarrassed user)

Geee sorry still can't figure it out. I remember it being very easy in the past !! Are there any PBase users who can give a step by step ??

On PBase:
1. Open the image in your browser.
2. Right click on it, choose Properties, locate Address (URL) field.
3. Highlight it, holding the left mouse key pressed.
4. Right click on the highlighted link, choose Copy.
5. Click OK to close properties.

On POTN:
6. Click Post Reply button on this page.
7. Click on the 5th from the right button (yellow icon with mountain) to Insert Image.
8. In new pop-up window paste URL that you copied in step 4.
9. Click OK.
10. Click Submit Reply.

I had a devil of a time with this so, here is my best effort at helping you.

Save a copy of your image at approx 50% of normal size.
Go to http://imageshack.us/
Click on Choose File and browse to your saved image copy.
Click the box that says resize image and choose the one for 15" or 17" monitor.
Now click Upload. Your image will be uploaded to imageshack.
After the upload is finished, double or triple click "hotlink for forums 1 or hotlink for forums 2" Copy this. CTRL or CMD C
Now click the mountain and sun icon on the thread you want to imbed the image on.
overwrite the HTTP: with what you just copied.

For instance: here is what I copied from "Hotlink for forums 2" on imageshack.

Here's what I will leave behind when I click OK to the mountain and sun icon dialog box.

Pbase users need to make sure you have turned on the ability to direct link in your Pbase profile. After loggin in click on profile at the top. Then click on edit your account settings. Scroll down until you see this:
