This was my first outing with my new 300 f4 (new to me) found it quite difficult using it for the first time, got to close to the action being used to a 80 - 200 2.8f.
The weather was not very kind, rained all the second half.
ISO 200 - 400 all f4 1/650 - 1/100
C&C will be greatly appreciated

Thanks Gary , was used on the touch line, had to stand back behind the dead ball line when we were attacking , we won 27-0, yes used the cover but the rain was at coming at 45 degrees and blowing into the lens,

pretty good for first time out... hard to judge because
of the differing distances of the players in some of the
shots

BTW: is this an IS or non IS, did you handhold or use
a monopod?
