I'm trying to get into wedding / bridal photography more, and went to a GREAT workshop yesterday in Dallas (Arlington). First let me say this the model was beautiful in every way, and I am not trying to change anything whatsoever about her. I'm looking at getting a few images from the shoot to put into my portfolio, and was wondering which shot would be best for web-viewing.
she had some beautiful tattoos, which of course i removed in one of the shots. i think the star ads quite a bit in the one i left it in, but for web viewing and portfolio work, which would be the best in all of your opinions. just curious.
thanks a ton.

I think the star looks completely out of place in an otherwise classic shot. Like a joke with no punch line.

I agree. Leave it out unless you think it's important for your portfolio.

definately take it out. The shot is too timeless and classic as said above and i think because of the purpose you should leave it out.
If it was a real shot of a real bride for sale to her, then maybe leave it in. For an example of work, it will add nothing in the eyes of a customer-to-be.
If the shot was less faceless and more individual personality, I'd say leave it in. Tats are part of someones personality, not appearance and i love them... but not for a portfolio shot as this will be.

Whatever you did to the hair in the second one looks odd too. I'd say skip that effect, makes the hair look plasticy and fake.
That is not a bash.. i love the shot, just giving my couple pennies.

thank you all so much
i didn't mean to do that to her hair. i had it on a dup layer, and for some reason when i hid the one w/ the removal , it took away the mask that left the detail in the hair :D
my bad
thanks again so much
