ID Mk11 Date rumor

Howdy, Just told unofficialy from Canon USA that the sales guys are talking end of May for shipping of 1D Mk 11. Anyone heard anything to back up or dismiss that date?

Naturally,along with the rest of the World, I am anxious to see and shoot this camera and was hoping nay praying for an April Ship Date.

The last I heard the date move it was from late April to early May... if this is indeed true,. then I guess we are stuck waiting a few more weeks. :(

I just noticed that Adorama did another Pre-Authorization on my card for my order price of the 1DMII on April 2nd. The first was when I ordered it two months ago. The second was on March 19th. Now, the third was on April 2nd. After the Passover break...........watch out for the flood of 1D Mark IIs. IMHO or my humble wish.

Last date I got on mine from CDW was 10 May. I'm somewhere around #20 on their list I believe....... I really wish it was sooner.......I need another EOS fix....

I do not know what number I am on Adorama's list. They would only say that my order would be filled with their initial shippment. I take it with a grain of salt.....but they sure like doing temporary authorizations on my credit card account. Three temp auth's to date :D
