Are there any benefits to shooting in Large Fine JPEG vs. Small Fine JPEG when the end result is an image size of 1024 x 768? Will the larger file be a better quality image than the smaller file? Thanks!

If the inteneded end result is only a 1034X768 image,. then no... not for the 1024X768 image there isn't...
But My GOD man,. why on earth would you want a $1,500.00 dollar 6 megapixel camera to take only .75 megapixel images with?????
Shoot at the highest quality in case you .. for some reason down the road actually want to print an image..

Another thing to consider...you may want to crop your picture and if you start out with a small image, it can only get smaller!

Personally, I would prefer to edit a full resolution image (3072 X 2048) and then downsize it to 1024 X 768 in software. If I were not post processing, then I'd shoot at the lower resolution.
