I'm shooting my first wedding in a month and I had an engagement session with the couple today. They are very sweet and happy. There was a lot of snow at the park we went to, so I ended up with some exposure problems (I probably shouldn't have shot in M), along with some squinting problems, but I am happy for the most part. Looking forward to the wedding. Enjoy!

Good job for your first engagement session :)

A few comments/critiques

#1 A few areas of importance seem to be blown out (it may be my uncalibrated work monitor though): her hand, his neck and her hair. I'm not sure at what they are looking at too...

#2 Overexposed, especially her face (she has a pale skin tone, so you have to pay attention to that!). Too tightly cropped (or not enough) for my liking.

#3 Better exposure.

#4 is my favorite.

#5 I don't like the posing part. It's not very flattering for the bride since she is square on. I would've taken this shot at a different angle and have the guy more on one side (but still behind) and the girl more on the other rather than the guy directly behind the girl. Also, to get a good expression from the couple, ask the guy to try to kiss the girl and the girl to try not to get kissed from the guy - it does wonders for their expressions! :D
