Three song rule was enforced, and the palce was outsold on both nights... Photography was a bit challenging.

Apparently, the 15/2.8 Fisheye is all I need ;)

I like #4 best. #1 and 5 are nice as well. Well done as usual...

Great stuff once again. 1 & 4 are favorites of this bunch but they all look great.

ISO1600, as usual (if you're wondering about noise levels, they vary based on how much brightness I add and how much post EC I do).

oh question regarding EC, when shooting is it best to go to plus side or minus? or middle? or is it the fact you cant tell till the night

I'm assuming we're talking about pre-EC here :)
Well, if I meter my images (e.g. use something else than manual mode) I use about -1 EC. If the background consists of backlit smoke, then I go to -1/3 or 0 EC... But if I had to say a starting point, it'd be evaluative metering and -1 EC (and RAW).

My philosophy is that it is good enough to get the exposure so that the post exposure compensation needed is somewhere between -1.5 and +1... I have better things to do than think about "perfect" exposure if I can achieve it in RAW converter :). That is, I spend my time being creative rather than fidling with the camera settings, if I can :)

I shot these guys thursday. Looks like your show was a LOT better. I was shooting ISO 3200 and couldn't get anything over 1/60 at f/1.8 :(
