My only problem with it is that it is too centered. The attention is drawn immediately to the center of the spiral and it stays there. The picture needs something to keep the eye moving from one part of the picture to another. Usually, placing the element of interest or greatest tension at one of the 1/3 rd points can help with that. Adding something else at a strategic point could also help.
Generally speaking, creating the ideal composition is one of discovering it in a series of pictures, rather than setting up the composition from scratch. The latter requires more imagination and experience.

I am a digital girl, and do work with digital effects, however the glow...blur stuff usually (for me) just doesn't compare to the results I get with my Sima soft focus lens. You can find them on ebay for around $40.00. I also agree with it being too centered. Keep practicing. Be well!
