Comets on Fire @ Golden Plains

Here is a selection from the genre and mind bending Northern Californian band Comets on Fire - these guys are simple amazing - they were that good it was difficult to stay focussed on photographing them. No wonder Spin Magazine rates them as one of the top 25 live bands in the world today. these guys *are* great, and don't discount the many side projects too (Howlin' Rain, Six Organs of Admittance, Colossal Yes, and the infinite amount of side projects Chasny is in outside of his main Six Organs thing).

Thanks narlus - I like it a lot... while Comets were playing it appeared they were playing as much for themselves as the crowd and sent themselves into a state of rapture and just happened to take the crowd along for the ride. I think that shot captures Ethan in a state of bliss.
