How do you guys do your border/signature? I am working on mine (will post it tonight as I am at work right now), but would love to see what others have.
I have seen some very creative and interesting ones throughout my views on this site, but it'd be nice to have a compilation of them all for inspirational purposes all in one thread.
Post yours!
Thanks
Bryan

I'll probably redo mine - again. I'm not 100% happy with it.

I like the logo as well. I actually saw yours and it's what inspired me to make this thread. Great work!

Not the best picture and I'm always rethinking it, but right now I do this:

I like Tiffany's & Petra's. Though, I lean towards Tiffany for it looks industrialized IMO, but Petra's looks elegant and "less is more" look. I love them both, man I can't decide now :(

I have mine saved as an action in photoshop. When I run the action, it:
- Adds 75 pixels to the canvas size (all sides)
- Centers the image
- Gives the image the shadow/immediate border
- Adds the text (my sig and the website)
- Selects the background and adds a border to it
- Adds 2 pixels to the canvas size

Maybe one of the others will chime in. I can't get mine to be the same every time either.

No doubt this is the most obvious question in the world but what do you guys use these borders for? I can see Bryan and Dan's as postcards but what other uses are you putting them to?

The frame makes it a little less appealing to steal images and claim them as your own. Too many photographers lately have been caught in the act of stealing other people's work an posted them as their own on their homepage - and that way claim they took them. An ugly (I think they are ugly really - at least mine) border could hopefully scare them off a bit.

Ok. let's see how I did....

I cheated when I did mine. I took an action for making a frame for the image and then added an action for putting my web address on it. Not very classy looking, but I've got the idea now - and hopefully got it out of my system. :D

problem i have is that i had done mine on a set fixed resolution, so i have to keep resizing to that to get the perfect well same positioning of the sig. For some reason, when i get the same sized images, when i grab all, copy and paste layer to another, it centres the sig for some reason, doing me head in.
On another note, cant people still steal images that have framed sigs rather than a massive Copyright C slapped right bang in the middle of the image?
Here's mine as of current...
