Sorry for me this doesn't work. The main pigeon taking off is interesting but the pigeons in the background because they in focus fight for attention. I think perhaps if you composed it with a less distracting and busy background (or the background blurred) it would improve things. Also the wings on the bird are over exposed. I would be tempted also to use a faster shutter to freeze the action a bit more so it wasn't so blurry and more detail came through?
