i just made a backup of my database. the display of the backup set says everything went ok, but at the end of the list i found some strange lines with these special characters:

Block 862 | 2004-04-07 08:20:50 | CRC32 OK
661 INSERT INTO `ee_uncookied` VALUES ('1', '?’Anà EOãmdL"w›¶7è¶Ç6*ÎXŽëž>$*BEu£ÇèóçkdÁÏì莢~5îz¹—UÕJ ÒæÊ‚?˜` )=‚¯Q5Ê*¼ü§{Tt`¥ÒϺkO>a[‘ºÈƒHG´¼ ò`,e'ÏœPÖyþxËþž?f9@ä•ç¼LŒçW?ºG šL6U™g`@R; Â5QßÓ1?hñ°B%ó3¾+hh*ÀÅ΋ÍýLª%´ã 25&‹Ê¨oÈ** —‹N”Â$ûÛ'g?>Y ç0nÀaÇ *¤šM`ß?‹(ø¹*X¥ÎW$tõû ', '1')

is everthing allright with the backup?

Yes that is binary table data. Browser can not display it properly but the data is fine on file (or database).

Just to ease user's mind I will add a "test restore" mode to EE Backup in the future.

Please note also that there is really no need to backup up ee_performance, ee_uncookied and ee_message tables every time. Just make sure after restore that those tables are created manually (you can pick create table commands from any file backup which has those tables).

Hej,

I am having a problem when I do a RESTORE.
PROBLEM: Can not go on.
COMMAND WAS REJECTED:

INSERT INTO `ee_uncookied` VALUES ('1',
Duplicate entry '1' for key 1

PLEASE CHECK FIRST THAT THE CHOSEN READING DELIMITER (|EE|BACKUP|) IS CORRECT.

I am having the correct Delimiter, and have no clue what to do next.
Do I need to restore this table or?
The PhotoGallery seems to have been restored fine anyway.
