Is it possible to add a feature where watermarks are added when the image is loaded into the gallery window when a user request that image?

As it is i think EE watermarks the image as it is uploaded.

This means that the only original on the server is held in the upload folder.

Is this an option that could be added?

Possible, but I'd rather not add any features which make such actions "live" - on big galleries that would eat significant percent of CPU power. I'll put it on todo list and do some tests with it.

Yes CPU time is increased with this option. But wouldnt mind seeing it in action in a new version. Thanks again.
