Last weekend I attended an Indie Music Festival and took pix of performers. I kept a Festival Programme safe and sound for my later reference during PP. Well, it turns out to be another in a series of your classic stuff ups: one or two of the bands I did recognise at the time but none of the soloists. Now during PP I have noticed The Programme has got to be wrong by over 90 minutes. So to name the solo performers would be a guess at best.. this could be Jessica, or it could be Marianne... oh well :(

Excellent exposures, Ross. I've been missing shots from your L primes ;-)

Oh BTW you left Newcastle just in time -- they're going to start charging at Blackbutt. Newcastle City Council are, ahem, annoying.

(I'm sure the people are lovely, but collectively they're silly. Like most councils I guess.)

Actually I don't mind the guitar being a cropped a bit, even the head ;-)

Good point, Rene, but you know how stubbornly independent the OZies are!

you and your headstock.

As well as the lawyers!

Actually I don't mind the guitar being a cropped a bit, even the head ;-)

And the hangers on.

I make these kinds of errors, too, Carzee, and I only shoot one band at a time usually. Good work on the images ... except for the headstocks, of course.

Don't know why it has to be an 'error', Dwight, but fair enough -- you're the performing arts guru ;-)

I'm sorry, I understood you to suggest that you misnamed some performers ... but perhaps I misread. Doesn't matter, I do make errors of that sort.

Thx all.

Definitely one very talented performer; smooth and beautiful.

I love her outfit...she is a beautiful brunette... very pleasant, relaxing shots for the eyes... kinda puts you in the mood to listen to music...

Did you use any sort of filter for those shots? Very nice, soft lighting, great exposure. I agree with above, the first was my favorite. More emotion in it.

Very lovely - The lighting is just perfect and you've made the most of it.
