Yes they're nice but the shot lacks any real focal point IMHO. You got too much going on in too many places in the shot. I had a little crop and cloning session hope you don't mind.

Not really, it's more of a case of I've taken many shots not unlike yours and played around with them until I find something I like. Just keep snapping and you will look at your shots with a more critical eye. You are in the right place to learn. I've only been here for a short while and have found it friendly and informative place, the more you join in the more you will get out of it.

Yes, definitely worth keeping. Just have to crop it a bit differently like what Attic did. In the first image I find some of the brown leaves detracting from the composition. Particularly the giant one hanging down below the main group of flowers there =).
