Taken from the aircraft viewing spot outside the airport with my 100-300 f5.6L
this was late afternoon so iso 400

looks good to me, but i dont like the fence in the bottom of the picture and the aircraft relaay needs to be in the centre of the photograph.

If i was you i would go up to the fence and shoot through it.

Those 2 are all through the fence, unless you can get higher so the fence isnt in the picture i would say through the fence is the best way.

Hi James
I thought about going right up to the fence and in the past that would not have been a problem but security and police patrol the area like hawks and I didn't want to attract any attention being there with a large lens and telephoto.
The pic was taken with me perching on a fence post and that was the highest point I could get.

yeah i know all about the security and police patrols. The rule is to stay 3 meters away from the fence at all times. But they do not mind if you just go up to the fence and take a photo then walk away.

Photosguy I've cropped it but dunno if I like it as the fence I think added something.
