Nice shot, that looks like one big storm brewing. The building have a real textile feel to them. I like.

Very nice, what lens were you using here?

And how long of an exposure did you use?

Thanks, Denovo. I used the 17 - 85mm kit lens (which I have now replaced with the 22-105L) on a 30D. The exposure was 125th @ f/8 at 200 ASA. And, would you believe, it was taken from a boat during a river cruise!

would like more contrast in the clouds.
looks a little under exposed.

I like it a lot, I love the background. This might just be me, but the main tower, if it was framed to the left a lil more, it just might be that much more appealing. But I still really love the contrast of the whole shot. nice one!

Thanks a lot, jonklein - I take your point.

I agree with jonklein on the comp, and to me it also feels like that tower is leaning a touch in. Maybe it is just me.

This shot has such interesting lighting that i am forced to ask: is this a composite? Come on now, be honest, how much pp went into this thing.

Otherwise this shot is really great, just pan right a bit. I would still print this one big.

Thanks for your comments feilb. According to the PS grid, the tower is upright! There obviously was some pp on this shot, but it was confined to levels, saturation, contrast and sharpening (!).
