How do you create a link that works the same as a web address? For example I've noticed that some of you have My Photos under your name that functions as a link, instead of wwww.......com/...........
Obviously not an HTML expert,

Scott,
Try this:
{url=http://xxxxx.xxx}text{/url}
where xxxxx.xxx is your url to the site you want to link to and text is the text you want displayed for the link. I've substituted the "curly brackets" in this example for the straight brackets you really use, so make sure you use the straight brackets instead. I couldn't use them in here because the site code isn't smart enough to realize that I'm showing you an example and it would just display the underlined link text instead of the code. It should show up like this if you have the syntax correct:
Canon USA (http://www.canonusa.com)
Was that what you were asking?

You mean... you want something like that
[url="http://bla.bla"]Bla Bla[/url]
or
Bla Bla (http://bla.bla)

or simply
Bla Bla (http://bla.bla)

On your edit window, you have the button 'Code' and 'Quote' (Which I've used in the first example)
In the second example, I just disabled BBCode... (Checkbox below the edit window)

Don't...
you know ... 'There are no stupid questions, only stupid people that don't ask questions...'
Ok... perhaps there are stupid questions but I don't think that was one of them.. :)

Have you ever noticed that it's always the stupid people that don't ask questions that cause the most trouble?

That's so true...
you explain something to them, the nod 'yes', and afterwards you have all the trouble because they didn't understand at all and did all wrong or nothing :x
