The Univ Conn men and women's basketball team won the 2004 NCAA basketball tournament. Ho Hum. :) It's only the first time in history that a one school has won both championships.
Here are 2 shots cribbed from the NY Times online. (Hopefully the links work).

A recent article about Sports Illustrated coverage of the Super Bowl ( http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=7-6453-6821 ) made the point that editors for print media increasingly favor sports shots that show emotion, even if there is no action. For those who like to shoot sports, it's a point worth keeping in mind.
The folks in Connecticut are still celebrating today. Perhaps I should go out and grab some shots! :D :D
Here are my pics from another Connecticut basketball team that didn't quite make it to the final 4.
