Hello everyone,
THis is one of my better panoramic shots that I have taken so far in my opinion. Was at Denali National Park for a few days last summer taking lots of photos and this is one of my favorite landscapes. It's a series of about 3-4 pictures that I put together in Photoshop.

Didn't have a tripod at the time so I did it hand holding the 28-135 IS. The only thing I see wrong with it right away is that some parts of the sky are blown out.

Thanks for the feedback. You really can't get the scale on how magnificent it really is with a small web image like this. Blown up on my screen it looks much better =)

It's a great view, nicely stitched, but unfortunately the blown out sky ruins it for me. If you could recover the detail somehow, it'd improve it dramatically.

I'm impressed that this was done handheld. I didn't think it was possible.

Got to agree with some of the others - ND grads would have really made this shot.

Well, as I didn't have a tripod at the time, I had to do it handheld. Also it being overcast and bright didn't help matters either =)

I will try and make the sky less blown out and bring out some of the details.

Great panoramic of one of my favorite places. Nice. Were you on an airplane for these shots? I can't tell how you got the elevation that you managed without being in an airplane. Perhaps a ski-flight out of Talkeetna? BBB

Nope, not an airplane BirdBrain =) This is up on a very high cliff/hill that overlooked this particular valley. They let us out of the bus to stretch the old legs and was able to hike up a bit a take this shot. I am planning on being back at the park this summer, so I will try and get a better shot then. Thanks for all the comments!
