I took these at its first display last year at Farnborough and I only posted one shot, theres some interest now as shes in the US so I thought I would post some more , any comments welcome.

im itching to see it! but sadly no reports of it coming to SFO

thanks :) she did a nice slow pass with the reds , smoke an all ! for most of it the sun killed the shots , poor saturation etc .

Thanks for commenting , I think its only able to use 30-35 airports worldwide , not sure if thats one of them:confused:

Nice shots, Last I heard there were only 5 airports in the US that can handle it because of the weight. Runways would need to be reinforced.

yup SFO is on the list. maybe they dont have terminals yet? no idea.

theres fewer stickers now on the a380 than before. sad, hehe. not like the 2nd to last pic

Cheers and yea I hope they sort their business out , this beast is a real sight and too nice to flop due to underlying issues.

Thanks Frank , I thank the pilot for the angle , he sure chucked it around . Cant be a " Marauder shot" though Its not cropped for the close up sans wings:p

Thoes red arrows better stay clear of thoes turbines on the 380, might get pulled in.:D Nice shots of a massive (617.3 tons 81,890 gallon fuel capcity) jet.
