Southern Mn, That shot was taken with a 75 to 300mm, since then I have got 70 to 200f4l , and cannot wait to try it out!

I'm sorry, I have the 70-200 f4 and it is one damn sharp lens. I know you will like it. I them went to a 300mm f4 IS USM Prime and a 1.4 TC and that is "Kick Ass" There are several Eagles around Albert Lea.

Winona is a easy drive, what do you think about the 1.4 tele for my f4?

The 1.4 TC works very well on your Lens and You will still have IS and USM (Autofocus)
