Since I posted one sunset, I thought I'd drop the other two I've ever taken. Any comments welcome and appreciated; always wanting to learn more. Thanks. The pictures are unedited, but the silhouette one was taken with a polarizer. Would the surfer one benefit from a narrower crop?

WOW - great eye! I like them both very much.
On you surfer question, I think a panoramic (5x13 or so) framing would look very nice - but it would be a completely differnt feel - telling the story of a journey, rather than what I see here - the story of envelopement in envoronment.
On a completely unrelated note:
I recomment that you shrink your images before you post them. 2 reasons. 1) We will be able to load a smaller image faster, and 2) posting hi-res images this nice might result in them getting stolen. You would not want to see them in a Hallmark calendar without getting a paycheck.

i agree great eye!!!
your pics are very nice. Great mood. I like the last one the most because i can see the sharpness of the waves.
Rule of thirds... definitely.

Thanks for the feedback and the advice. Rad, it never occurred to me that my pictures could end up stolen--as if they were worthy enough for someone to want them... I did shrink them (I hadn't thought of loading time, either....)

#2 looks great to me.. I might consider croping a little from the left but it is a great shot. For web sice shoot for around 600 pix on the long/widest side that will give better loads.. Ck sticky on posting pic's that will help
