Posting this as an experiment really. The original was a 2.5mb jpeg, after messing about with a number of layers in elements it saved as a 50mb psd! exported it as a 84kb jpeg for this post. The big file looks ok, lets see what this is like - C&C very welcome at the same time.

You have an outstanding image there - I'd love to see a larger version.

A very nice image, that deserves to be seen in the full 800 pixel format allowed in this forum. I do this by using the resize function of Picture Window Pro 3.5 - I am sure that such a function must also exist in PS and similar programs.

Save the .PSD file as a jpeg, and the jpeg window will open, there's a tab on that window, that states 'Image Size' -- in that tab, change it from whatever pixels to 800 by whatever. Save the jepg...and wala, larger picture. Oh, and you can also select the 'quality' of the picture, which will change the Kb 'size' of the image.

Yeah, I've always done the same as jpeg 800 x 600 in the past in it's been fine. Only thing I did different this time was to export directly from the large file in organiser but still saving as the 800 x 600 jpeg, somehow file size was 250kb, I'll try a different a different way.

Can't get the 800 x 600 jpeg below 260kb and I keep getting rejected above 100kb? Never had this problem before?

Save the jpeg, with whatever file size. Then, open the jpeg, and scale it down, in file size. Should work...
