Hi Its back to the British superbikes this weekend with a three day test at Snetterton. as I've never been before please could anyone tell me , can you get close to the action, i would be using my 100-400 lens is this sufficient ?

Snetterton isn't too bad for access, there are very few big fences to deal with.
The 100-400 will be fine for most of the track although there are a couple of places where longer would be better, but you can always crop a bit. I went last year and shot with the 100-400 almost all day.
I'm tempted to go on Saturday as it's a great way to shoot the BSB without the crowds that go with a full race weekend but i'll check the weather forecast tomorrow night then decide. Snet's not the friendliest place in bad weather :D
