3 x Jaguar XJ220s seen in Stoke on Trent today - pics inside

Hi there,

I posted some pics on Tuesday on the Pistonheads.com forum of an Jaguar XJ220 I had seen parked on a side street in Stoke on Trent, UK.

Well I was in Stoke again today and decided to drive past the same place again to see if it was still there.

I turned the corner and nearly crashed my car when I saw what was parked there today.

I had to get out of my car and have a closer look.

3 XJ220's in the same place and was especially chuffed to have seen the Yellow XJ220S.

As I got back in my car and drove away I noticed something else parked up a side street next to the building: -

This is an original Jaguar XJR12 that competed at Le Mans in 1990.

I have since found out that this building is actually home to Don Law Racing a company that services and repairs about 70% of the XJ220's in existence.

What a day after this I had to go home and lie down in a dark room.

I've only seen one XJ220 in my life in here in the states at a show. These are truly marques. I believe there were only 249 or something like that, built?

Nice jags.. my dad owns an EType V12 Roadster, nothing like the XJ220 in terms of speed & handling but a classic all the same.

That's a cracking find. Who would imagine a world reknowned Jaguar specialist down a non-descript terraced side street :rolleyes:? Mind you, if everyone knew they were there, how often would they be broken into.

The XJR12? It's on the road...does that mean it's road legal;)? I remember Le Mans when the three crossed the line together (I also remember the 24 hour coach journey home :cry:).

I was going to say that XJR12 is run by Don Law, I've seen it race at Brands a handful of times and saw it at Le Mans too, in the support race a few years back.

I regually drive a transit down to the west country, about 600mile round trip, I wouldnt mind seeing them raced!
