Nice shot there!!! I really like it....It is like the wasp did a pose for the shot! Also reminds me that summer is arround the corner over here!

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. I hotlinked the pic to a larger image. A lot of the detail isnt apparent because of the small size of the pic here.

Funny that you say that, he got really pissed right after this picture and came at me. A small price to pay though!:D

Did he get you? Over here you would have been stung. Great capture.

Good shot, he does look awfully angry. Not sure I'd have gotten close enough to grab a shot ;)

No, he didnt get me, but it was scary. I freaking hate bees/wasps! I took a lot of pictures of this guy, starting relatively far away, and slowly inching towards him until I got too close and he got agitated. It's a pretty good approach and typically yields some decent shots.

Great shot. I presume this is as far as his nest got - or are you going to let them build one next to your window

I actually wanted to let him keep building because of all of the phot opportunities, but he came after the wife yesterday, and let's just say, she "took care of him".

Hiya Theshaner,

Great shot/capture, shame wifey took care of it, as you say that woulda been a great photo opportunity, in my books well worth a sting of two.

Cheers for now
Mark
