Anyone have any good tips/settings for shooting from the air?

Hang your camera from kite with a radio or timer release. Gives some very good low altitude shots. Search google for "KAP" rigs. (Kite Assisted Photography, IIRC).

If you mean from aircraft then the best bet is try to avoid as much glass as possible, so shhot froma Cessna rather than a 737 to cut down on the amount of glass/plastic in the way.

Also, have a word with Longwatcher of this parish, used to have something to do with some fairly high altitude photography ;)

Cheers
