nice. I had an arsis picture in a mag not to long ago. jim is such a ham on stage. I can believe he let you take his picture without giving you horns while playing. Darren on drums sounds awesome... still wish he would come back to play for goratory.. but what ever. I looked at the arsis myspace. looks like I'm beating my gf in their pictures. she's only got one. I got um.. 4? she used to have more, but they were of the old drummer.
still haven't seen SOA yet.

the sound was so terrible at the venue, It was a really relaxed kinda show, no security, not a ton of people, i just walked in front of the barrier and shot away.

I hate shows like that.. it's like if there is a barricade.. um.. limit access? or just get rid of it.
the worst was one of the best shows ever. maryland death fest 3. they had a barricade, but no passes so it just ended up being a sitting section for foreigners while I tried to climb over them. I would rather either have the people clear to the stage or have some sort of access limiting method.

cavet: unless people are respecting the barricade and they want it there for safty in emergencies.

Where in Buffalo Was this?
These are real good, except that the first one has a lot of hair blocking his face...I think the 3rd and 4th are especially real good...
Give us some lens and camera info...and especially the EXIF picture properties...

I shot them all with flash... :( well no frown I guess, I think the ghosting captures the energy well.

Nice action! #2 could use a little tweaking to take away the bluish skin tones. #5 is a great hair shot. I had a couple of my Arsis photos published in the January issue of Decibel.

Actually their previous label (Willowtip) contacted me and I worked out rates with them for the use in the magazine.
