I went to UT to meet Sararose (Sari) and Metal Tom and David Perry a year ago. We met at Temple Square. My oldest son was with me and he was just amazed at us finishing each others' sentences and we had just met. So, the term was coined. We were speaking another language, Canonese. If you came to one of the POTN meetings here, you'd know what I mean. Jon and Jim and I were together for over 2 hours and we really didn't want to go home. We probably would still be at the McDonald's talking about our gear if we didn't have real lives. :o

I agree with Mark that not all folks outside our worlds would think so, but I hear similar stories about numerous little groups of POTNers meeting IRL and hitting it off like long time buds, gear talk or no.;)

Yesterday I went a little crazy and I feel I must atone for my indiscretions. For indiscretion it was and hopefully I didn’t cross that line into blasphemy. I made certain statements about the Title Fairy, maybe even a taunt or two and I am now deeply sorry. After seeing title changes handed out as if they were something that can be asked for, something that can be bought or even begged for, I had a moment of weakness and a failing of faith. I personally was not looking for a title nor had I insinuated that I needed one. I was perfectly happy with “Goldmember” as it made me giggle like a school kid and think about that crazy guy in Austin Powers whenever I saw it. But in the darker corners of my heart there brewed just a bit jealousy. I let the demon get the better of me and I posted before I could regain full control.
So I am here to atone my sins and confess. While I maintain that the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause are still human inventions and a lie perpetrated by parents to keep kids in line, and I am also pretty sure that each and every one of your parents has had sex at least once but maybe not with each other, but my disparaging claims that the Title Fairy is human and subject to a human weakness such as a bribe obviously crossed that line. I now understand that the TF does not follow the rules that mere mortals do. One can not know the mind of the TF for knowing that is to know the deepest secrets of the forum itself and if that were reveled to us, the knowledge would surly drive us insane or possible even cause us to burst into flame.
So I am human (barely) thus I am subject to human foibles such as bribery. I thank you TF for showing me that I had strayed and warned me in such a manner that it will live with me the rest of my days. I accept the fact that there is a plan and that I am not to know this plan. You are and always will be the omnipotent TF.
